Last night I did an article on this site about how it’s an excellent time to be a New York Sports fan. Most teams have had a winning start to the season (the Net and Knicks start their seasons tomorrow). I made a mistake in that article; I forgot to mention the Buffalo Bills.
Ariel Helwani’s favourite team has a 5-1 record heading into their bye week. At the weekend, the Bills overcame Kansas City by four points. Bills Quarterback Josh Allen threw for 329 yards with four touchdowns. A regular-season win over the Chiefs is always good, especially since they have knocked the Bills out of the playoffs the last two years, but it won’t be as sweet until the Bills can return the favour.
Former LA Rams player Von Miller helped his team to victory. Miller finished the game with four combined tackles and two sacks. His efforts included a sack to force a punt and pressure to force the game-sealing interception. To read more about the game, read Athletic’s beat writer Joe Buscaglia’s Article.
