What are your thoughts on the concept of living a very long life?

What is up loyal readers, welcome back for another instalment of Bloganuary. Whoever started this has come with some good questions, and this one I like.

When I was younger, I was afraid to die. I couldn’t imagine one day being alive and the next day being buried six feet under. I’m pretty sure I cried to mum saying that I didn’t want to die, and I was about seven years old.

I was sure I wanted to live a long life, I even wished that I would become an immortal. One day, someone pointed out that I would be alive, but my friends would all be dead and that hit me hard.

As I got older, Death didn’t scare me as much as it once did. I accepted that it was apart of life and there was nothing I could do about it.

In all honesty, I would love to live a long life. There are some things that I have not done in my life that I would still like to accomplish, hopefully I can do them before I die.

But as someone once said, ‘we’re here for a good time, not a long time!’

See you tomorrow for day nine.
